"Digital Artistry with Impact" is a unique and 5 day creative Photoshop "art" workshop that uses tools and custom enhancements to bring your images to a gallery fine-art level. There are many workshops geared to the teaching of Photoshop, however, this workshop exceeds those basic Photoshop techniques with "custom art" techniques that give new life to your images providing the skills to develop your own creative and individual style.

Sherron's knowledge and skills as a traditional artist, as well as a digital artist, will enable you to use the art concepts and techniques learned in this Photoshop class to raise the quality of your work to a "gallery fine-art" level. In addition, with Sherron's help, you will begin to recognize the little things that give your images more impact, and start to analyze your own images from an "artist point of view".

"Digital Artistry with Impact" is a hands-on Photoshop workshop that goes beyond the mere demonstration of creative art techniques to help you learn how to merge the reality of a photograph with the artistic expression and quality of traditional art. Through the use of the creative and unique digital art techniques learned in this workshop, you will be able to transform your photographs into your own custom "pieces of art".

Several styles of fine art will be produced in Photoshop as time allows, including, oil painting, watercolor wash, custom burn and dodge to a fine art level, SX 70 effect, cross process, pen and ink look, pastel, digital infrared, custom deckle edges, making images pop, custom color palettes, adding diffused glow, porcelain glow, art history painting, combing filters and other artistic styles. In addition, some basic Photoshop techniques will be covered that are needed to produce creative "Photoshop Art", including preferences for painting in Photoshop, layers and layer masks, color correcting with variations, custom shortcuts, sharpening, custom brushes and tool presets and more.
