Sherron Sheppard and April Visel's:

"Digital Artistry in Motion",
An Equine Art Photoshop/Photography Workshop

Workshop Policies

Policies:
The "Digital Artistry in Motion", Equine Photoshop/Photography Workshop is an intermediate Photoshop hands-on workshop in addition to an on-location photographic workshop. Participants will need to bring a lap top computer loaded with Photoshop CS or CS2 and be somewhat knowledgeable in Photoshop. This is not a beginner Photoshop class but a creative "Art" enhancement workshop.

Film may be used at the on-location shoots but participants will be asked to bring scanned images to work on for hands-on computer instruction. Some instructor images will be available for participants to work on. There will be no over night film processing available through the workshop.

Class sizes are limited. Admissions are accepted upon return of admission questionnaire. The workshop deposit is due at time of registration. Upon acceptance, you will receive a letter or e-mail providing information and suggestions for equipment to bring, motels and how to prepare for the workshop. If the workshop is full, we will be happy to place you on our waiting list.

Withdrawal, Cancellation, Refunds & Return Check Charges:
If you need to withdraw from the workshop, you must inform us, in writing, no later than 30 days prior to the first day of the workshop and we will refund your deposit, less the $125 cancellation fee and any Paypal fees.

If you withdraw within the 30 days prior to the first day of the workshop, the entire tuition paid will be retained, including the $125 cancellation fee and any Paypal fees.

No refunds of any kind will be made for withdrawals within 30 days of the first day of the workshop, during the workshop, or for no-shows

If it is necessary for us to cancel a workshop, all registered participants will receive a full refund of all paid deposits and fees, except Paypal fees.

Neither Sherron Sheppard, Ron Sheppard, Sheppard Photography or April Visel, Brandon Visel, or Sphere Equine Photography is responsible for cancellations due to medical emergencies.

Sherron Sheppard, Ron Sheppard, Sheppard Photography or April Visel, Brandon Visel, or Sphere Equine Photography assumes no liability for reimbursement of airline tickets due to workshop cancellation. We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance. For this reason we encourage you to purchase refundable airline tickets and consider purchasing trip cancellation insurance. There is a $25 service charge for returned checks.

Registration:
To reserve your space in a workshop, a deposit of $495 (which includes the $125 cancellation fee) is required at the time of registration and completion of the Workshop Application. Acceptance into the workshop will be determined per the workshop application. Applicants will be notified within 2 weeks of receipt of the application of acceptance into the workshop. We cannot hold a space in the workshop without a deposit.

The balance of the tuition is due no later than 30 days prior to the first day of the workshop. If the balance is not received by 30 days prior to the first day of the workshop, your space in the workshop and deposit, including the $125 cancellation fee, will be forfeited.

To qualify for the "Early Bird Discount" the unpaid balance must be received 30 days before the start of the workshop. If not received 30 days before start of workshop, the tuition reverts to the full tuition.

The workshop tuition covers tuition only. Travel and lodging expenses are not included. Weather:
Some of our workshop sessions will take place out-of-doors. Even though the weather in Santa Ynez, California is usually dry, we cannot be responsible for the weather. In case of rain or other inclement weather, we will continue with hands-on computer techniques and artistic enhancements that will give you the skills to produce fine-art products for your clients or gallery.

Spouses or Companions:
Workshop attendees will be occupied with class activities so there won't be much time for you to be together. Non-registered spouse/companion or others may not sit-in or participate in workshop classes or on-location shoots. However, your spouse or companion is welcome to join us for the dinner after class. There is plenty to do in beautiful Santa Ynez and Solvang and nearby locations to keep them busy throughout the day.
